Too late to plant a fall crop of greens?

bananastandJuly 30, 2012

I was going to re-plant lettuce and spinach in July, but the heat was too much. Is it too late to get things in? I'm about 1 hour north of Madison.

Give it a go, all you have to lose is a few seeds. I live NW of Milw. and usually plant fall greens Aug 1st. Last year we were harvesting until late October.
