Goodness sakes, Margo,
You certainly have a nice collection of "Purple Cone Flowers", some I've never heard of, too.
I just planted E. 'Sunset' this year, but it hasn't bloomed yet.

Thanks for sharing!

Here's an "E" Hosta, 'Emerald Tiara':

Beautiful flowers!
Aka Margo I absolutely love your 'Sunset' Echinacea and Green envy and Echinops 'Artic Glow' Where do you get those I haven't run across them yet in my searches.

Julie, what is that you have behind to the left of your ruby star? It's probably obvious, but like I said I am so new at this I can't identify too many plants yet. I just bought the Ruby star myself and am trying to plan what else I need to get to put around coneflowers hmmm..... maybe I should have just started a new thread

Carrie...

The plant behind the Echinecea, 'Ruby Star' is a Sedum, but the name isn't labeled on my map, so I don't know what cultivar it is. I know it's not 'Autumn Joy', but something else pink. It will bloom later, after the Purple cone fls are finished.

Carrie,
I ordered both the Green Envy and the Artic Glow Echinops. The Echinops I recieved from Bluestone Perennials last year and the Green Envy (and a lot of my other coneflowers) came from Garden Crossings (whom has awesome plants) this year.

Nice close-up!

Now that one I've never seen, and you'd think I would, living in the country. I understand it grows in dry old fields and roadsides, as a biennial. Do you grow it in your garden?

I have several Primrose. This one blooms in the evening, it's a perennial. Very cool plant.

Here's a shot of the whole plant.
