Lack of Japanese Beetles this year?

Has anyone else noticed there are a lot less Japanese Beetles this year in Wisconsin! Whoo-hoo!

Yes, the numbers are way down. Its due to the only real natural control factor we have, drought. The drought last summer caused a high mortality rate of the grub stage that lives on grass roots.

I have as well...still found them here and there though.

Glad someone chimed in as to why the population is down!
