Hi, does anyone have experience growing Bald Cypress this far north, I live in Western Wisconsin near the Rice Lake, New Richmond area, in Polk County which is about 1 hour and a half outside of Minneapolis/St Paul,MN so does anyone know about Bald Cypress in this area? I'm asking because some people say they have not had luck this far north, But I've had good luck. I gotten one to live for a year and a half. have I preformed a plant miracle?

I traded for bald cypress seeds last year and put 20 seedlings into nursery beds last summer. They not only came through the winter with flying colors (no dieback) they grew to about 2 1/2 feet tall this season.
