plants with plumes?

Snomam(Zone 3)October 25, 2010

Every fall I admire the gorgeous grasses with tall white plumes similar to Pampas grass! Anybody know what they're called? TIA

Probably a type of miscanthus. There are a few that are hardy to zones 3-4. Here's a terrific comparison chart. Great plants for winter interest.
