unidentified wildflower in moss no leaves

lessieleeJune 16, 2006

Please help me identify small, white/lavender, irregular, tubular, 5-petal with lower lip indented, growing thru moss with 4"-6" stem with no apparent leaves present now. New Hampshire, woodland. June 16. Never seen it before & can't find in field guide. Many thanks.

Unless someone has seen this before it would be difficult even with an image. But here is a link to the
New England Wildflower Society.
If anyone would know someone there should.

Or you could try the ct-botanical society. They list flowers by color. Go to the following url for images

Good luck
