Plant I.D. needed

I found this growing on the side of my gravel driveway some time ago. I thought it was some kind of hardwood originally, but now I'm thinking it's some kind of plant; possibly sumac.

Any ideas?

Winged sumac (not poisonous), Rhus copallinum.
