Slender Hinoki Cypress in South Texas???

merryaustin(8b San Antonio)July 31, 2010

I love the look of the Slender Hinoki Cypress, but I am not sure they will grow in San Antonio. I would like to know if anyone had had success with them in South Texas or if there is a tree with a similar look and shape that would be more suitable. Thanks!
