new rock garden

mainemary(z4 ME)September 5, 2005

This weekend I tackled a new project. There are several boulders piled up in my backyard, framed with big ferns. I dug out the rock fragements and roots to create a perennial garden of hostas and astilbes. The link below shows several pictures of the garden. Thank goodness for ibuprofen!

Very nice already and will be even nicer when they fill in. I'm glad you could envision what could be there.
