Planting jack in the pulpit corms

efeuerSeptember 27, 2013

Can anyone tell me how deep to plant jack-in-the-pulpit corms? I just purchased these and they are very small, about the size of a pea. Should they just go about 1 inch in the soil?

I just make a small indentation with my Japanese gardening knife and drop them in. The depth is probably only a half inch or so, and I just push the spot closed. Nothing fancy, and it works.

I hope you have some luck as most of the corms sold commercially are too dried out. You might soak them overnight in water first.
