Poetry - Why to plant a garden

mmiesseApril 14, 2014

Hello! I'm teaching a college speech class this week about how doing performance poetry can help you become a better public speaker.

They are covering persuasive speech right now so I was trying to find a poem that could be pegged as 'persuasive.' I would LOVE to read them a poem about why one should garden - can anybody point me to one such poem?

Thank you!

I also plan to read an informative poem.
