Early Flowers On Determinates

brownthumb65(8B Florida)July 9, 2011

Hi Everyone,

I bought some Tomato plants for 1 cent at Walmart. They were labeled "Celebrity" They were about 6" tall and when I transplanted them I went down to the first leaves.

All of a sudden I have tiny little flowers coming in at the center. Do I pinch these off or let them grow into fruit? They are determinate so I'm not sure if they will keep making flowers if I pinch them off or not. Will the plant still grow taller and make more fruit or is that only the indeterminate varieties? The plants are only about 4 inches out of the ground.

Thanks for any advice.
