How can 96 degrees feel so cool?

We've had all the windows in the house open since last night and it feels fine. How can 96 degrees feel so cool?

we have been doing the same, though we closed them for a smoke smell, and the kids- I thought it felt nice, and we even sat outside last night and wondered the same.

Early this AM a light sweater would have felt good. Cool did not last long, maybe 45 minutes.

It was 100 yesterday and I had a great day working in the shop. 11% humidity. I did the quickest glue up of a table yesterday. It was a race against drying glue.
