I wanted to see if this looks like your "St. Helena Cemetary Very Double Rose".
The picture on Help Me Find looks pink.
Yes, it does look like it. Sometimes it's more pink and sometime it's as the Vintage Catalog describes it: straw pink. How's the fragrance? "St. Helena Cemetary Very Double Tea" has a very strong sweet fragrance.. Where did you get it? I shared a few, but don't remember to whom I sent them..
I traded for it from a guy in California. He said he got it from someone in Texas.
I have it in a pot and have only had a few flowers so far.
They looked more cream yellow than pink.
I haven't really noticed the fragrance.
I need to plant it inground, but don't have any full sun area and am not sure where I want to put it.
I traded cuttings with a guy in California so it probably came from mine. As with a lot of my roses I grew it in a big pot, probably 15 or 20 gallon. Maybe you can find a place to put a pot. It's a frequent bloomer and the fragrance is one of the nicest things about it. It was a pleasure to work anywhere around it as the scent wafts big time. It's one of the few roses I kept and a smaller plant is in the ground.
Here's some HelpMeFind photos for anyone else that is interested in this rose. Like many delicately colored roses it's pinker in the cooler seasons.
