First Peach Tomato!

heirloomjunkie(5a)August 7, 2011

I got seeds labeled 'Wapsipinicon Peach" from a seed show this past winter and didn't really expect them to do much. But they sprouted and that plant is now the tallest I have and the first to produce. They're are tons of toms on it too. I got my first little yellow tomato today that smells, feels, and looks just like a peach. Super cool. And it tastes great! Does anybody know what other names they go by?

According to Seed Savers Exchange, it's aka White Peach and Yellow Peach.

Tatiana's only lists Wapsipinicon Peach:
and the same was true for other tomato databases I checked.

Other "peachy" types include Garden Peach, Red Garden Peach, Red Peach, Long Season Peach, Elberta Peach, Peach Blow Sutton, and plain Peach.
