Texas Discovery Gardens Annual Plant Sale

ogrose_txNovember 4, 2010

Just posted this on the Cottage Forum by mistake, thought Dallas area gardeners may be interested. Just saw in the Dallas Morning News that Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park is having their annual native plant sale on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 11 - 2pm, specifically butterfly attracting plants. I went to their website and there are some great hard-to-find natives listed. I don't know any of the details, how large the plants are, prices, etc. Will call them tomorrow to see if I can get more information and post tomorrow night.

They didn't have a phone number, so didn't get any information so will just take a run out there in the morning to see what it's all about. I did print out their list of available plants and trees, definitely stuff you don't see at Home Depot or Lowe's!
