Has anyone tried aeroponics for tomatos??? I have set up some bins and lights to try it
What is your set-up like? Can you post pics? What advantages are you anticipating with it vs. a typical hydroponics set up for growing tomatoes? Which modular system are you using? Which pumps? Which PGR compounds are you planning to use? Have you found a good source for reasonably priced components you'd want to share?
I will try to upload some pics of my set-up--after growing great maters in Puerto Rico for the last 20 years (with a lot of help from carolyn and my other buddies) I am now back up north--it's kind of a hobby thats out of hand--had to invent bins--lights and other stuff--will give some details later
we are using aero garden liquid on some and aeroponic liquid micronutrients on others--the aero garden stuff is a lot cheaper
My outdoor aeroponics...huge tomato plants and as of today they are still growing and flowering. I have them under cover protecting them from jack frost. Check out my blog
Here is a link that might be useful: My Aeroponics
We were going to a Pow Wow and prepared this platter for the feast..needless to say they all got ate.
Looks great--but why aeroponics outdoors ???
how do you keep the roots from bundling???
