kittymoonbeamUpdated August 4, 2015 That's just what I do. Who cares how it looks when it works so well. You can move them around and they store in a small space when you're not using them. Get them on sale when stores start clearing out the summer stuff.

llilibel03Updated August 2, 2015 Thanks for the replies. We had the spittle bug problem, too. Took them off one by one. We also catch the grasshoppers when we can. Our neighbor has a huge compost pile in the front of his house so we release the critters there...

hoovb zone 9 sunset 23Updated August 1, 2015 We had six of them. They were attractive in bloom, or when bare. The foliage was nice for a few weeks and then started to look awful. I had them all dug out. Good riddance.

BarbJP CA 15-16/9BUpdated July 31, 2015 Hmm, interesting. Well then, I don't know. Maybe it has some kind of virus? Some viruses can cause changes in color without harming the plant. That's how some of those variegated tulips get their colors. Just a guess though.

Please ID a plant. It looks like a miniature pumpkin.
