bahia(SF Bay Area)Updated October 21, 2009 It really depends on the amount of roots that were cut off versus the amount of roots in the pots. Figs are pretty resistant plants, and if there was a good amount of roots still at the rootballs within the pots, I wouldn't worry ...

dicotUpdated October 21, 2009 Don't think there's much frost in the south bay and xmas lights will get them through a cold snap. I'd plant them asap. And while you may not want to fertilize with N now, I would put slow release iron in the hole.

What fertilizers or soil amendments are you using this season?
