jxbrownUpdated Annuals like violas bloom, set seed and die in a year (really a couple of seasons). Also, violas don't tolerate heat well. The worms are innocent! Time to plant something new.

floral_uk z.8/9 SW UKUpdated It isn't a Crocus corm of any kind. Nor is it any sort of bulb. It looks more like a piece of some kind of rhizome that has got into the mix. It is similar to Arum italicum if there is any of that around. Or some other Aroid.
