readinglady(z8 OR)Updated It depends on the strength of the pickling solution and the refrigerator temperature. A pickled product can last a long time in those conditions. Probably you'll notice changes in texture (i.e. softening) first. Carol

digdirt2Updated Ok, have you read about the recommendation to convert the Presto to weights? Easy and cheap to do and that will eliminate you fighting the gauge which has to be tested before use anyway. That alone will solve many of your problems...
