readinglady(z8 OR)Updated Definitely caustic and you have to be very careful to rinse every bit off the cucumbers. A triple wash is standard. It's not like pickle crisp, which remains in the jar. Carol

kerryvUpdated I can then, I use Mrs.Wages dill pickle packet and a little bit of the ball pickle crisp, they're wonderful. I use them all year on pizza, sandwiches, Philly cheese steaks, etc. I've also used Ball pickled peppers recipe.
