digdirt2Updated Yes the lids and bands are interchangeable. Whether you want to use the Mainstay brand is up to you. Some care that they are made in China and given all the history of contaminants in Chinese imports won't use them for that reason...

wertach zone 7-B SCUpdated Another thing to add, a good diamond stone to sharpen your knives. It takes a little practice, but it comes in handy. I hate a dull knife!
