Hi Cher,

I live in Canada zone 3. I would think you'd be a zone 4ish? We can buy Ostrich Ferns at any Nursery up here and through some mail order catalogues as well. Give the nurseries in your area a call and ask them if they will be stocking them this spring. I believe they are very common.

Online, you can buy ostrich ferns from New Moon Organics.

To find vendors of a given plant, one thing you can do is go to the little icon on the right side of this GardenWeb forum. Type in the name of the plant you are looking for. It will return information about that plant, including whether one of the GardenWeb advertisers sells it. If one of them sells it, you will see a green dollar sign. Click on the dollar sign and it will take you straight to the vendor's website, where you can order it.
