Arthritis Help

I see where lots of people have arthritis like I do and it really hampers our gardening. I wanted to share with you that I have found a small amount of help for mine. I'm sure you all have heard of Glucosamine and Chondroitin (across the counter drug). I started taking it for arthritis in one of my fingers which I had lost total use of. I had to take it full strength for 3 months before I could tell a difference but it no longer hurts and I have regained full use of it. This medication did absolutely nothing for my spinal arthritis so I guess it depends on the type arthritis you have. Anyway, any little bit of help we can get is better than nothing. If this helps just one person it will definitely be worth this post. When I previewed this message for errors I noticed that the word medication became underlined. I double-clicked on it and it took me to website I have never heard of so don't think this is some type of advertisement. It really irritates me that they can automatically do such a thing to a message I have posted but I don't know any way to stop it.

Thanks for the info. I do have arthritis in my knees, feet and fingers. Next week I have an appointment with a Rheumatologist and I will ask him about Glucose and Chondroitin. I have heard they work, but they are not cheap - I am glad to hear someone (who is not doing a commercial for them) has had good luck. Let's face it. It couldn't hurt!

Hi Elly,
Most doctors will not recommend it for some reason. Maybe they get a kickback for the drugs they prescribe or something, but I know a number of people who take it and it works. I know others who have tried it and it didn't help. It helped one lady that I recommended it to in a matter of a few days, but like I said, it took 3 months for me. I suppose it just depends on the type of arthritis you have or something. It is expensive, but the relief I got in that one finger is worth it. Good luck with help for your arthritis. i take the G&C for my osteoarthritis. i also take fish oil capsules for my psoriatic arthritis. these were prescribed by my rheumatologist. it doesn't make the pain go away but it sure makes it more tolerable. worth every penny.

You can buy this online way cheaper than in any store. I get mine at American Nutrition. Only 8.95 for 120 tablets. Glucosamine 1500 mg, Chondroitin 1200 mg, MSM 1000 mg.

Been on G&C for ten years. Right arm was totally useless. Took three months to get back to normal. Now I can do anything with it. Now I am a 79 year old man with a large garden. My 80 lb. White English Bulldog had hip dysplasia and could hardly walk. In three months he was running and jumping in the van after I put him on G&C. Vet said 2,000 mg a day was ok, same as I take. Two in the a.m. & two in the p.m.

I've given away all the pills and potions for my arthritic and nerve pain and now rely solely on a personal portable TENS machine for pain management. I have attached a link that has further info. I have absolutely no affiliation with this company apart from being a very satisfied customer, my only regret is that I didn't learn of it before the kidneys were so badly affected by the medications.
