Until April of 2004, I was a hardworking RN working charge and night supervisor Then I had a brain tumor and before it could be removed, it collapsed on the right mesenteric artery which means I've lost use of my left side and am now confined to a wheelchair--can't even get outside-- thank goodness for a big strong son who likes tilling and good natured daghters who like gardening!!!I am working on disability and hung up on paperwork can't get the state of IL to kick loose my birth crtificate I am working toward enrolling in graduate school--but I would ratger just go back to work --we lost 60%of our income --income to raise ou childrden and take care of our grandson while his mom getsher life back on track after a really bad divorce--well better 1 year and one child then 10 yrs and 2 or 3 kids She is strong and applying for nursing school
