My Winter Set Up

Just thought I'd share my picture, I drug all 29 Adeniums (23 seedlings, a rooted cutting, and 5 adults) in for a couple of cold 38 degree winter nights. I feel grateful to be planning on dragging them all back out Wednesday though when temps are back up to 70-80 days and 60's nights :) I actually have 3 with buds and one newly opening bloom still!

I hope everyone else is faring well this winter!

Heather, I am coveting that plant shelf!

My plants basically colonized my office in haphazard fashion. Due to a confluence of factors, it is the warmest, most tropical room in the house. So part of my "winter set up" looks like this:

We do whatever we have to huh Pagan? The reason I use that shelf as much as I do is to keep them up high to keep my cats from the temptation of nibbling leaves. I made sure I packed it tight to the edge so it would deter thoughts of acrobatic leaps up to it. Tropic kitty probably appreciates your warmer forest like room as much as the plants!

Yes, it is doing well! Growing new leaves and hasn't seemed to suffer any. It's got buds starting, but not sure what they'll do being so late in the season.

Excellent display so neat and tidy i am sure they are relishing the warmth of the room, i am fortunate the weather in Thailand only drops between 60/70 degrees at night so my Adenium are able stay out in the open.
