Yes, like Rick says--please post a photo or two (or three--the more, the better!) and we can help you out with your problem! If it is indeed spider mites, I've found a great product to deal with them--it's called Mighty Wash. I got it from my local hydroponic supply store, $15.95 for a quart. It works like a champ--wiped out my spider mites very quickly!

spider mites are usually on the "under" side of leaves, you can barely see them, tiny reddish spider like creatures sometimes with black spots, when smashed they leave reddish line. If there is bad infestation you can see tiny webs and silvery residue. Hope what you have is something different. Google images for mealybugs, and see if it matches!

Could you please check what is active ingredient in the Mighty Wash? I have really bad mites on DRs and debating if I should just throw them away, all 12 plants I own! I was spraying twice a week last 2 month with various miticides with no luck, getting desperate here, I also grow Hoyas and can't really isolate them from DRs, all plants are sharing patio....
