Close up of blooms. Not sure but they are dark in color. Hoping for a dark purple.

Did you raise it recently? If so, have you had it in the sun?
Is the yellowing around the whole circumference of the caudex?
What does the caudex feel like? Soft or firm?
Maybe these questions will help out with some insight into this issue.

I recently purchased this plant and 7 others about 4-6 weeks ago. When I potted the bare root plant there was a soil line and I tried to keep to that line. this is the only plant that has yellowing. The yellowing is only on the sun side(more so on the afternoon angle) of the plant. The caudex is nice and firm no issues there. That I can tell. Sorry for not give all the info in the first post. Got alittle anxious.

One other thing I would like to ask. What's the best way to get rid of aphids on DRs. Soapy water spray or alchol water spray.

I do not blame you for getting anxious and no need to be sorry. I just wanted to ask those questions so that it would help anyone give you assistance.
I if this has happened recently and it has been out in hot sun, it could be sunburn. Common especially with newly raised plants or those not used to that much intense sun.
What I have done with plants that I have raised and have in sun, is to make a shield of sorts to deflect the sun from sensitive area.

For aphids you can use insecticidal soap or try Brian's mix
1Tbsp liquid dish soap
1Tbsp olive oil
1 Litre water
Mix in spray bottle and keep shaken well while using.
DO NOT have plants in sun after using. I rinse the plants down with plain water (without soaking soil) to prevent leaf scortch.
I have used a mix with alcohol for spider mites.
Just keep out of hottest day sun for awhile.
