You could root prune the adenium now.. I do like the spring the best. I have done a few of mine in the heat... But, I don't have those temps like you. If you do, Just let it rest after you prune...( in the shade for a week or so) Are you going to raise the Caudex too? It's really easy to root prune especially since its in the gritty mix.. Comes off so easily!!!

I understand about the heat.. So, I would also like to hear other suggestions!! Marie? She is in Texas..

I will go ahead and tackle it tonight. No, I'm not going to raise the Caudex just yet, maybe in spring. It will need the mix freshened up at that time anyway. Hard to tell from the pic, but it's about 6" in diameter. I love how far it's come in a few years! I want more! lol...

I love how the gritty mix just falls away!
