Then and now....big and injured

This is biggest pot in my collection. I had it since 2001, back then, no double adenium at all. This plant gave me full head each year when in full bloom.
I took it out from my garage too early last year before I left for Australia and New Zealand. One very cold front came while I was away. 1/4 of the roots got rotten. It is injured at the base.......

You said that there were no doubles back in 2001 when you got this one ...

Well, this one is as pretty as the doubles.

;-)

If I were to have one Adenium, and I could choose this my "one and only" Adenium from all the Adeniums in this world. I would have choosen a free flowering pretty single. Because they are the "genuine / authentic / true" blooms for these plants. And that has a value in itself for all the plant genuses, I think.
