I brought some bare root desert rose today and some of the caudex are a bit soft. In my rush to grab the plants at the sale I never realized the one of my plant had the main stem shoot broken off from the caudex. Will this plant send up new stem shoot . As directed by the guys at the store I 1st soaking them in superthrive (2ml/5gals of water) for about 5 mins then potted them in cactus mix . Can some one tell me what other care I should take to ensure I get my plant grow and flower. I live in Jamaica.
