Some of the smaller leaves turned yellow over night.

Looks great and love the pot! I need to try to get all the stuff for that mix and get away from cactus mix & perlite.

Don't worry about the leaves. Probably just shock. They'll come back in no time.

Neal, the soil mix looks very good. Like the Tufa pot, atleast I believe that is what it is. Plant looks great in it's new home. The walls of the Tufa pot should help insulate from most of the heat. If you need to, shade the pot by putting another pot in front of it on sunniest side or you can also place in side of a larger pot as long as there is air space between the two.
Should not need to.

Not sure where you live in North Texas but here is how I located the ingredients for the mix locally to avoid the shipping charges.

For the grit I did a google search for a local feed and seed. found one in my area that had chicken grit grower size and they sold it by the pound. It happened to be the Gran-i-Grit brand.

For Turface went to www.turface.com. and did a search for distributors in Texas. Some John Deere stores carry turface as well, go to www.deere.com and search "locate nearest dealer". It is not expensive and you will want a 50lb. bag as you loose quite a bit in the screening process.

Petco for the Repti-Bark.

Made a few phone calls and had everything in a day.

I found everything in the DFW area.
