improptu grafting

Well, I wasn't planning on trying any grafting yet, but I overwatered a couple of my plants from warunee and had the caudex start to turn to mush. I had been watering all of them about equally and the ones with some leaves were getting dry very quickly but the ones that were slower to leaf out didn't fare as well. So, I thought it was worth a stab at it. So, I went to our local plant market and bought a couple cheap presumably pink adeniums for about $2.50 each to use as rootstock, and started with one yesterday... probably did all sorts of things wrong, but thought I'd share this before photo...
