Joe,
Now I fell like the same dog, but somebody gave me a very big and tasty bone and when in tried to eat it I found out that I had no teeth

Joe I hate that highway, going thru zapata, roma , la joya and all those little towns, , but if we decide next month to go to south padre I'll stop by

Very pretty joe,

Say when you graft why do they remove the bottom leaves of a stem and only keep the top growth. Wouldn't you want as much leaf action to pull up nutrients thru that main vein and increase the chances that the graft takes?

It is true on what you say Jason. When I graft the tips of the original plant on starters ...they grab a hold much faster than ones without. But then there is your catch 22 ...you don't have enough grafting material that you are forced to take 90 - 95% of the mother plant to have a sufficient supply afterwards.
