My Black Purple finanlly opens for me. It is late into the blooming season, but all the blooms open upward which is what I like.

So pretty, flower look like watercolors were added drop by drop to the petals! Thanks for sharing! I noticed one lighter bloom; are flowers fading to that wonderful maroon shade?Aggie

    Marie,
That is absolutely gorgeous and so deep and rich. I love how there is a faint outline of a lighter color resembling a flower within a flower.
Thank you for always bringing such wonderful sights to see.

    Very pretty, Marie
Your plants always look so good. My few plants are just now starting to get buds, they are way late blooming.

COT Crown of Thorns or Euphorbia Milli. Do a search on the C&S forum for COT. Miss Marie has some eye candy there.

Marie: is Black purple the name or you just name it that, lack of an official name.
Looking at all the wonderful pictures of your DRs (and others' as well) I got carried away and bid on several of Mr.Ko's seeds on e-bay. So, I'm pretty sure I'll have a lot of questions once I get some seeds.
Couldn't find an on-line nursery (canadian) where I can buy seedlings.

Otis, I didn't name it. It was the name of the tag on the plant.
Mr. Ko is one of the well know seller for DR seeds. You are buying at a good source.

Don't buy too many. It look awhile for it to bloom and most seeds turn out common colors.
