Nah, just leave them where they are---the plant thrives in the heat and can handle up to 40C in their native habitat. When they have about 3 sets of leaves, you can slowly get them used to direct sun. In fact, I have a summer experiment that germinated in full sun and has been receiving about 6 hours of it from the beginning. They were sowed in Turface and are watered every other day. Ish.

We are advised to remove the sheath because in warm humid conditions, they encourage the growth of fungus that could harm tender seedlings. I found that if it is hot enough for moisture to quickly evaporate from the surface of your pot, you don't have to be so obsessive about it. My summer batch did not get de-cloaked at all and they are fine outside.

If you are sowing in the winter which is what I did in my first experiment, such things matter more.
