Wow....they are bigger than expected.
The second picture, it takes time but will be okay since other branches are coming out.

Plants look great, I love split caudex on the weird graft one!
This graft looks a bit dry to me, although it may be just fine considering multiple growing points! Only thing I would do it's cutting off all branches growing below it, as these will deprive graft from much needed energy. In my limited experience, grafts are always weaker than stock, so if stock starts growing below graft line I cut it.

Marie I was pleased with the size of the plants. They had said that they were ready to be potted up. I have no idea who is what but this one is going to open soon and I am excited. Looks like it may be my first yellow. Paula

Do they call it the mystery pack, because of the fact that they are send without identification? Dumb maybe on my part.
I wonder if they would be able to advise when they do bloom from a photo? Since they are grafted plants from their stock.

I believe that many grafted plants just have slower growing scion stock grafted onto them and this is why we see some that grow a lot stronger than others. Have see the opposite
with a strong growing scion on weak root stock and not a good combination.

Paula, Congratulations on your newly purchased plants. I had the same question and it appears in your post you may have eluded to the answer...these are lost tag plants from the nursery?

The plants look nice size and very healthy. Did you get them all potted up? I am really excited for you as several of them look like they have the start of some really interesting caudex. woo hoo. Good luck with your new plants.

Rick and ladylotus, they still have the add on their website. For $84.00 you get 6 standard sized plants that would have sold for 19+ after id with flower. I am not sure if they could id as they were grafted in Thailand. So many names changes. Maybe come close to family line.

Aggie I do plan on cutting the branches off the caudex. Just with how weird it looks now on top they are my indicator to a healthy caudex. Thank you all Paula
