Over night temps here in North Texas have been low 60's.
I'm enjoying the cooler weather, but sad because I know we have another month before the plants come indoors.
It's amazing how much room all the new acquisitions take up! I'll fill one 12 x 12 bedroom this winter!!
I have plumeria, DR's & tropical hibiscus!! OH yea and brugmansia.

South Texas in the mid 70s at night, day temperatures low 90s so Still a couple months maybe a little more, usually we dont get into thd 40s till December, but they are saying that this year will be colder than usual, hope not

Lonnie, I am thinking of uproot all my small pots this year.
Few of my friends had done it and it worked very well for them.

I will line up old newspaper in the box, uproot them, wash all the dirt, take off all leaves and stack up (stand up) in boxes, leave them in patio until cool nights. If the days under 30 degrees, I will bring the box inside for a day or two and bring it out again.

Marie, that sounds interesting. Has your friend mentioned how many losses they've had for this method of storing for winter?

I may have to give this a try as my space is limited in the garage.
