Another view

Wonderful plant. I love the shape of the leaves. Possibly just from the transplanting and different conditions.
I would think it should next summer. Not sure without checking Mark D's book to see when typical time of blooming is?

How cool! I just found one of these at my local Ace Hardware! And lots of grafted ones. Do you have any pictures with blooms?

I have a somalense that is completely bald 2 months after repotting, It's driving me crazy. Every other tree is so lush with the rain we've been having but the somalense looks like dead sticks. It's the first time I have repotted it.

Yeah they are like spoilt kids change any thing on them they throw the toys out the cot and spit it just ignore it water it it will start behaving plenty of sun no water slow released fertilizer all will be good
