Karyn, winter comes early this year ha? We had a cold front last week, but back to normal this week. I don't want to bring in my adenium until end of November, but that is only a hope.

This is about average for this time of year. We haven't had a frost yet but probably will by the end of the month. Once it gets below 65 I think it's too cold. I really should live in zone 10 or 11.

LOL yeah, it seems plants I don't really care that much about do the best or bloom the most and the ones I really want to do well or to bloom better lag behind. My peach datura normally always blooms. It only bloomed once this year. At least my creeping rangoon (vine) bloomed a lot this year after not blooming at all last year. On a side note I saw a post you did on another forum thread about gloriosa lilies. Mine have only bloomed once. I am curious if you ever got yours to bloom again and what tips/tricks you might have learned over the past few years with them.

Kirk my gloriosa lilies bloom every year but I am in zone 7 and dig mine up and store them over the winter. I assume yours are left in ground. I just plant them again every spring and get blooms by late summer. Mine are still blooming. At least they were last week. I am out of town this week.

I do leave them in the ground. I am more than likely going to dig them up this winter and plant else where in the spring. I read that certain soil conditions might affect blooming so may try something different. These are my #1 favorite flower by far. A plant as whole favorite is then the adeniums! :)
