Am new to DR and to this forum, which I discovered by accident. Surely glad I did! I bought a DR a couple years ago from a box store simply because I liked the look of plants with caudex; even though I had no idea how to care for it, it survived bloom and increased in size.
Decided to try growing from seeds, found an on line source and bought 10 seeds. Could not believe how fast they germ and how fast they have grown.
8 of the ten have survived ( 2 were albino) and today-- just 4 months later this is an example of what they all look like.
