Adenium Obesum Hardy to Zone 8b?

I have a big old adenium obesum that has gotten too big to care for inside. Will it survive winter in Bay Area California outside? I would put it outside in spring of 014' and acclimate to winter of 014'.

Thatadeniumguy,
I am not sure of year round conditions where you live, but if you put outside next summer. I do not think this will necessarily acclimate it for the winter months to follow.
If it is going to experience night temps. to 50F then it would have to be kept dry and in good free draining mix and under cover protected from rainfall.
I would think having it in a structure would protect better, especially if it is of importance to you.
Wish I could give a confirmed answer to you.
Cold and wet will be it's demise.
Rick
