| This is one of the vintage mini violets I got in Oct. from a elderly lady in the violet club.Little Axel...I am so pleased it finally bloomed..

| WOW - thank you - super nice - healthy plant. Fred would tell you that you have to remove the bottom row of leaves- they are smaller than next row. If you want to get a blue ribbon on a show - you can start removing bloom right now - and stop doing it 6-7 weeks before the show - so you have more bloom - and it is a winner!! It is not a mini - it is semi-mini - and it has a potential for a lushier bloom. I. |

| thank you I will remove the bottom leaves..our show is in april.Not sure I want to disbud it..I dont have that much blooming now.Its so dark and dreary here this winter.Anything blooming is a delight.... |

| Marigene - you can leave one bloomstalk and remove the rest - you have a potential Best in Class one. And it is in its prime time - after the year of life - the vigour diminishes - so if you want to take advantage - go for it. I. |
