I recently picked this up at Trader Joe's. It has been identified by Optimara as an escapee from their R & D department. It will be interesting to see what future bloom cycles will bring.
That is fantastic! Once it fills out, in a few months, do save me a leaf or a sucker! I think we will all be lining up for a leaf or a sucker! Way to go, Trader Joe! Was it $3? Joanne
The plants at TJ were only $1.99 & all appeared healthy. . . no thrips in sight. I don't often have the chance to shop there, but always make a point to check out the plant section. Sometimes they carry unusual orchids.
