Wow ... that's stunning ...

Lovely photo and plant. I like the Mac's very much, especially what he did with developing the reds. They grow well and are happy plants. However, they seem to be hard to find. You have put together a nice collection of some rare plants! It looks like you take good care of them.
(It looks to be a very bright coral on my computer monitor. It is hard to get the colors to photograph the way they look in real life.)

I got Mac's from the Violetgallery, so sad that they quitted their business. They had a lot of nice varieties. :(
My camera is so sensitive on red tone. I took photos under light from the windows, the light here is not quite same as yours, it is more of yellow- the sky here is not blue as yours.

SueOK - Thank you! Mac's Sentimental Scarlet is not this bright coral as in the photo, sorry about that. I guess it is too much photogenic.

On this photo I use photoshop to adjust the color. It is Jolly Coral on the right of Mac's Sentimental Scarlet. Jolly Coral has very nice coral color, with no black mixed.

Maybe the camera sees things that the human eye cannot see. I looked up George MacDonald, he now specializes in minis and small standards. The only Mac I have is a standard.
Interesting that natural light is more yellow where you are than the natural light in the U.S. You probably are not near an ocean. Where I live, the sky is deep blue because it reflects the Pacific Ocean, which is blue.
I read that the human eye cannot distinguish various tints or shades of red as clearly as greens, blues, and violets. Also, insects attracted to AVs see in the blue color range, not red.
Growing plants under fluorescent lights will enhance the red color. Joanne
