First Class Important Message

Just in case there's anyone who didn't get the email from Joe:

* * * * * Important Notice * * * * *

The company that hosts the First Class web site has changed the FTP password. As a result, if you try to update your database you will get a password error. This is not because your update password is bad.

In order to remedy the situation you will need to download the latest version of First Class. Go to this download page and follow the instructions there.

We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for posting that - I didn't get Joe's email. Now I have the latest upgrade. I sure would have been confused to try to update the database and receive a message that the password was incorrect!

Hey M3,
Thanks for the info. I just installed the update. One thing that may confuse people if they don't read the entire message is that FC2 must be closed to download the fix.
