| Connie - I grew it for 2 years - and it slowly sported to lighter and lighter red until it was practically raspberry. May be somebody was more successful with it - and my culture is not fitting it well - but my impression is that it is not a very good variety. The only great thing - if it is blooming true - it is really dark. Otherwise - the rosette is sparse, leaves are small, petioles too long, it suckers like crazy. George McDonald has many really great plants - hopefully he will continue working with this color to come with something easier to grow. I. |
