That is a TON of baby plants! You're going to have a ton of fun potting those up and watching them bloom!

I did the same thing and have babies coming as well. I was wondering if you bag yours in a plastic baggie to get them to root.

No, I just put them in the same solo cups you see here, but they are inside a plastic tub with a plexiglass top with a heating pad at the side to keep the temp at least 60 degrees F. Since I heat with wood, at night it gets sort of cold in my house, and I was afraid they would rot. I have a sort of cheap LED desk lamp from WM that seems to work for them. I was surprised about this since LED's can be just one wavelength which can be problematic for plants. I guess in trying to make the light appeal to humans, the makers made it also work for these plants.

How long did it take the leaves to form babies?

Thanks. I have mine in bags to increase the humidity. Most of them have leaves up. I am waiting for the baby leaves to increase in size before I pot them up.

bean, I started them at the end of October. So it's been a little more than two months.

carolyn, The plexiglas top keeps in the heat, and maybe some humidity. On warmer days I have been removing the top so they can get a taste of what the grown ups have to deal with around here. I too will wait to let them get bigger before repotting, although the one in the very bottom right corner is one that the mama leaf died, but the baby survived. It was small, but seems to be okay so far.
