Plants at Philly

As you may all know, the national convention for AVSA will be in Cherry Hill, NJ (right across the river from Philadelphia) from May 15-22.

New England clubs were asked to provide 50 plants per club to be used as table favors for 2 of the dinners, I think Friday and Saturday. They don't need to be in bloom, just a nicely established starter plant in a 2 1/2 inch pot.

The Maine club put down many leaves several times last year, and I potted up some today! We already have 75 new plants, and not even half of the leaves have had their babies separated.

We have plantlets of Jolly Jingle, Rob's Cool Fruit, Amadie Trail, Fancy Trail, Tiny Wood Trail, Rob's Boolaroo, and Foster Trail.

I hope that many of you will be able to go to the convention, enjoy a nice dinner, and take home one of our babies.

Barbara
